Our Story

Edmund Rice Centre Nairobi)ERCN’s mission is to restore the dignity and quality of life for most vulnerable households with children with disability (CWD) in Kibera through advocacy, special education, socio-economic empowerment. The most vulnerable households with children with disability are ERCN’s point of entry with initiatives that target the whole household and the environment in which the households are. This is a wholistic intervention that will directly reach CWD, siblings, youth, parents, community schools, and ERMEA. The Centre run 5 main projects namely, Special Needs Education, Advocacy, Health and Nutrition, Socio-economic Empowerment and Sibling sponsorship Program in partnership with Paython Foundation.
