on 6th of February we had the privilege of having Br Tino who is a representative from ERI. Br. Tino captivated all staff and volunteers with his in-depth exploration of Edmund Rice International and its profound mission to advocate for social justice and human rights worldwide. Participants gained invaluable insights into ERI's dedication to creating a more equitable and compassionate world for all.
The training delved into the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process, empowering us to understand and engage with this critical mechanism for monitoring and advocating for human rights on an international scale. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, Brother Tino equipped us with the tools to effectively contribute to the UPR process and amplify our voices for positive change.

Furthermore, the session shed light on the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), a topic close to our hearts at the Edmund Rice Centre. Brother Tino's expertise and guidance provided a deeper understanding of how we can champion the rights and dignity of people with disabilities, aligning with our Centre's mission and values.
We extend our sincere gratitude to Brother Tino for his enlightening and inspiring training, and to all staff and volunteers for their active participation and dedication to creating a more just and inclusive society. Let us continue to embody the spirit of compassion and advocacy as we work together to make a positive impact in our community and beyond.
