The Edmund Rice Centre hosted a transformative Group Therapy Training Program for parents of children with disabilities. The aim was to create a supportive environment, foster mutual understanding, and equip parents with valuable tools to enhance their children's well-being. The training aim was to foster open communication, sharing experiences, and provide practical tools so as to build a more supportive and empowered community for parents of children with disabilities. The facilitator Engaged our parent in different activities starting from, Presentation on the principles and benefits of group therapy. Q&A session to address any queries or concerns. in group work, the parents also participated in sharing circle where parents openly discussed their experiences, challenges, and triumphs. Interactive sessions focusing on communication, emotional support, and positive reinforcement were also facilitated in the group therapy.

The parents expressed gratitude for the opportunity to connect with other parents facing similar challenges. also they reported that this session helped the to have sense of increased confidence and empowerment among parents.
